Job Description:

Summary:  The LDP will cultivate well-rounded individuals who are knowledgeable in Elliott Electric Supply’s processes, procedures, and programs equipping them to lead others effectively.  Employees participating in the LDP gain valuable skills and experience to significantly enhance their career opportunities in management and sales.  The LDP deepens understanding of the company’s operations and sharpens leadership abilities, establishing strong candidates for higher-level positions in the organization.

Qualifications:

• No experience is required within the electrical industry or a college degree.  (If a candidate is recruited straight from college, a college degree is required).
• Ability to learn quickly, work hard, exhibit strong customer service skills.
• Have excellent communication skills; be self-motivated and a problem-solver.
• Be flexible to move where opportunity is presented.
• Available to all current employees and prospective team members
• 18-20 month program and must be able to participate in the following:   Predictive Index (Pi) Assessmen; Eaton 101 & 102 Product Training; Completed EPEC Bronze Program; Store Services Training, E-Training; Mentoring; Reviews & Assessments; Job Rotation in Every Sector

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand/walk extended periods of time, bend, stoop, kneel, climb, push, pull.
• Be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 75 pounds occasionally.
• Must be open to train on any required heavy equipment (sit-down forklift, reach forklift, cherry picker, pallet jack, hand wands, etc.)
